Surface Bolts

Surface bolt is a very popular type of door bolt used to fasten doors. It is mounted in a door to lock it in place. This type of bolt slides up into the jamb above the door, and down into the threshold or floor below door. This bolt is more suitable for double door, that is, where one door is kept locked in place and the other door is the one which is mainly used. When needed, the door locked can be opened. The surface bolt is designed for wood or metal doors, either interior or exterior.
