Plain bearing hinge is a non-ball bearing hinge used for lower frequency applications, in most cases with non-rated fire doors. This style of hinge is available in many different configurations: 2 knuckle, 3 knuckle, 5 & 6 knuckle. Plain Bearing Hinges are recommended for solid core doors or doors that are used frequently and these hinges are available in various range in thickness.
