system designed for restricting access through a door. The system
consists of a control module, an input device and an electro-mechanical
lockset, installed on a door to ensure electrical connections towards
the inner side of the doors. It is also possible to mount the input
device and the control module in a customized location on the door
surface. These security systems also come with an optional override
mechanism that allow entry to secured areas in cases of emergency or
system failure.
Working Principle
The security system comprise a housing supported on the door that
creates a recess and is provided with a lockset. The lockset helps to
secure the door in a closed position. The system also consists of a
rotative handle that is supported by the housing. The system has a
clutch mechanism, which is placed between the handle and lockset. There
is a key cylinder, which can be inserted in the recess placed in the
housing to bent the override device towards a first position, which is
again moved towards a second position whenever the key cylinder is
removed from the recess.
