There are usually two types of
door knob locks: spring latch and dead latch. The dead latch locks
provide slightly more security than spring latches. However, these locks
offer only minimal protection, and should be used on interior doors. If
you use a door knob lock on an exterior door, it should also be
supplemented with a dead bolt lock. A Dead Latch is a spring actuated
latch bolt with a beveled end and incorporating a plunger which, when
pressed down, automatically locks the projected latch bolt against
return by end pressure. It is also known as a deadlocking latch bolt.
There are different designs and colors to choose from. Whether it is
traditional or contemporary, the designs are elite and add a touch of

or chiseled. It is strong and steady and hence are durable and provide
security. The products look authentic and artistic.
